Founded in 2001, Usher Group continues to develop dynamic new ideas and smart processes to transform Australia’s commercial painting industry. We’re proud to now offer the complete range of painting and associated services to meet the often complex and multiple needs of our customers.

Our anticipated major birthday. And you know we like to celebrate!
The Usher Group diversifies its services adding Usher Electrical to the mix. Our first large scale project begins in Tasmania
The Usher Group is created to amalgamate our services into one organisation. With 500+ employees, turning over $80m we evolved into one of the most recognised commercial applicators in the industry
We officially become 3rd in the market.
Usher & Son officially became the largest commercial painting company in QLD turning over $42m.
To meet the industry’s need for a superior coating system, especially for tier one high rise construction, we launched paint brand, Baxta
Usher Group in Melbourne was officially opened, laying the foundations for a truly national organisation.

Thanks to our continued success and a desire to give back to the community, we created Usher Love, our charitable foundation.
Many Usher Group projects include elements of signage and painting so it was a natural progression for us to launch a dedicated signage division. Today, we have a full-scale creative, design and manufacturing facility located on the Gold Coast.
To provide a more comprehensive service offering to our customers, we purchased our first swing stage which eventually evolved into Usher Access Solutions.
We launched Usher Systems to provide our customers with a strategic project delivery process. Usher Systems applies our industry-leading best practice and management skills to deliver projects on time and on budget.
Throughout the early 2000s, our innovative services grew. Hutchinson Builders recognised our capabilities and awarded us our first $1m + project.
The acquisition of Usher & Son helps accelerate company growth, moving the organisation into the big league.
United House of colour is awarded its first large scale commercial project, jump starting the business into the commercial sector.
Founder Theodore Vairaktaris establishes United House of Kolor (UHK), a small-scale painting company. From this point, the vision to succeed is born.

Scott Trembath is the current Chief Financial Officer for the Usher Group. Graduating from Griffith University with a Bachelor in Commerce, majoring in Accounting and Finance Scott is an active member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Mikel is never too far away from the coal face. Not only is he responsible for developing sales strategies and managing our awesome sales team, he’s always looking to improve our client relationships.
